About Us

Hi, I'm Bonnie! 

1. What made you want to start this business?
I’ve always had a passion for exploring new places. My family were avid travellers, and when my mom was pregnant with me, I had flown over 15 times even before I was born so the wanderlust definitely runs in the family.  Overtime, I realized that I also love creating seamless, memorable experiences for others and with my background in tech marketing and airline CRM, this gave me a unique perspective on customer loyalty and personalization, which I now bring to luxury travel. Travel advisors are very common in North America but this was a very niche profession in the Hong Kong market and most people don’t know that the hotel booking service I provide is complimentary so I thought it was a good business opportunity since people in HK love to travel.

3. What do you want a client to remember or feel when or after working with you?

I want clients to feel taken care of from start to finish and even beyond their trip. My goal is for them to think, “That was easier than I imagined and better than me booking on an online travel website.” After working with me, I want them to remember the unique touches that made their trip special, whether it was the staff knowing them the moment they step foot into the hotel, a surprise upgrade, or their favourite treat waiting in their hotel room.



4. What makes you different from a travel agency?
As a luxury travel advisor, I don’t just book trips and hotels—I create curated experiences tailored specifically to my clients' preferences. The more I work with a client, I understand their preferences and overtime I’m able to tailor their stays towards their needs for each trip regardless of where they travel in the world.

It’s truly rewarding as I working with a client from a surprise wedding proposal to a destination wedding. It feels truly rewarding as I’m able to be partake in the journey of different stages of their lives and I was able to be a part of that unforgettable experience.

Starting BonnVoyage Travel felt like the perfect way to blend my expertise in strategy and customer care with my love for travel. It’s deeply rewarding to curate bespoke experiences for people that transform a trip into something truly unforgettable and most people don’t know that .




5. Any other info that could help inform branding?
N/A other than the fact that the number one question I get from most people is how I make money.



Essentially the hotel or vendors pay me commission for bringing clients to them rather than paying a large chunk of commission to an online travel agency.  You are simply supporting an independent small travel advisor rather than a OTA who will provide you with much more support and personalisation!
